What is International Relations ? What is its importance in the Mains Exam?
General studies paper 2 of UPSC Mains deals with International relations. However GS -2 carries a lot of diverse topics but at least 3-4 questions are asked from International relations. International relations goes beyond peace treaties ,war or business; it actually deals with world politics and intrinsic political patterns and how we can maintain the peace and cooperate at a bigger level. Questions asked are current affairs based so reading the newspaper becomes essential.
