The UPSC is the most coveted exam in India. It is conducted for the recruitment in various officer level jobs in various departments and fields. The IAS,IPS,IFS being the most desirable among all. Every year many students attempt this paper. This paper is conducted in three stages. The UPSC mains (written) examination comprises nine papers. This includes two qualifying papers and seven papers which will be calculated for ranking. This includes two optional papers which carry 259 marks each.
